Our mission at Certified Functional Strength Coach is to provide education for fitness professionals that is up-to-date, applicable, and based both on scientific evidence and practical experience. Our aim is to demonstrate a systems-based approach to coaching, helping fitness professionals train anyone in any setting in a safe and productive manner. We hope to raise the bar for those looking to enter the field of strength and conditioning and personal training.
Movement As Medicine
Every human should move well and move often. Our mission is to help as many people do that as possible.
We pride ourselves on “treating the person” not “treating the pain.” No human body is exactly the same, so for that reason, no painful condition should be approached in the same manner. We take a unique, personalized approach to each individual who walks through our door.
Life should be lived in motion. We’re here to help you move more, move better and keep doing the things you love to do.
Train Smarter and Harder
Here at Train Smarter and Harder we’ve found the optimal way to train. Workouts are safe, easy on your joints, and get you RESULTS. We believe that following exercise progressions, avoiding pain, and having a why behind everything we do in the gym (i.e. smart training) is a non-negotiable. But training smart doesn’t mean we don’t work HARD. Because we do.
Our entire mission is to guide you on your lifetime training journey, in a way that supports your life outside of the gym, and within a community whose number one goal is to do no harm. We see a demand for safer training options and we’re answering that demand.
